- Turn off power to the spa at the breaker.
- Warm the overlay with a heat gun or hair dryer on low/medium heat to soften the adhesive.
- Start at a corner and lift it with a plastic razor blade, scraper, or fingernail. Avoid metal tools so you don’t gouge the panel.
- Peel slowly while continuing to apply gentle heat.
- Remove leftover adhesive with isopropyl alcohol, Goo Gone, or citrus adhesive remover on a cloth.
- Clean and dry the surface fully before applying the new overlay.
- When installing the new overlay, line it up carefully, press from the center outward, and avoid trapping air bubbles.
